Our initiatives should contribute to the goal of Swiss ParaGolf Association. Initially we start small but with clear focus.
Initiatives
Grow our community
Currently we are aware of about 30 golfers with an impairment. However, we are sure that there are many more who play golf in Switzerland in all age groups with a wide range of impairments. We all have one thing in common - we love golf!
We want to make the association known and make sure that every impaired golfer in Switzerland knows about the Swiss ParaGolf Association.
Tournaments
In this section we will publish tournaments for golfers with an impairment. We also plan to organize our own events. In the beginning, our tournaments will be small and focus on fun and fellowship. In the future we want our tournaments to grow with more participants, great sponsors, partners, and good prizes.

Charity Tournament
Every year there are some charity tournaments in Switzerland with a focus on supporting athletes with a physical impairment or other causes. We want to do our best to support these charities.

Golf Club sensibility
Together, we want to reach out to all golf clubs in Switzerland and inform them of our needs. For example, most clubs charge golfers with a physical impairment the full amount for a buggy, even if they cannot play without it. In most other countries in Europe, buggies are provided free of charge or there are discounts for golfers with a physical impairment.
We also plan to put together a list of Swiss golf clubs that are ideal or less suitable for players with a physical impairment. For example, players in wheelchairs cannot play or visit many clubs. This will be a longer project to grow through our community.
